I started with at RobZFitness, at age 14, for a few reasons. The first was my doctor informed me that my cholesterol was high and I needed more exercise to help lower it. Next, I knew it was what I needed to do to in order to look and feel my best. I had recently started watching WWE (wrestling) and wanted a fit body like those athletes. Lastly, I was ready to change, but had been unsuccessful with staying committed on my own. I asked my mom to bring me to a “jacked” trainer. Since my dad trained with Rob at RobZFitness in years past with great results, it only made sense to also bring me there.
November 2025 is when I first started at Rob and committed to 12 sessions up front. Having scheduled pre-workout times helped me stay on track for my home workouts I did in between RobZ sessions. I started using a fitness watch to track my heart rate and calories burned to help me stay motivated and workout longer. RobZ advice to never skip breakfast and make sure I consumed enough protein in a day made all the difference. I went from hardly ever eating breakfast to always drinking a protein smoothie in the morning. Instead of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I switched to chicken in my lunches for school. I also cut down on mindless snacking and sweets. I even turned down cake on my birthday!
Before I started training with RobZ, I felt weak and out of shape. Now, I feel so much stronger and more athletic. After 3 months I have dropped my cholesterol from 217-154 and I have lost 20lbs, lost 11.2% of body fat and gained plenty of strength. I improved my overall fitness for boys my age from 15% to 64%. My clothes are looser and I need to buy smaller pants. I have lost 3.23” in my chest, down 3-4” around my waist and hips. I am also more disciplined and efficient throughout the entire day no matter what I’m doing. I am excited to keep going on my fitness journey as I continue to build more muscle and confidence.
