I’m originally from the small town of LaGrange, Ohio but have been living in Valrico for the past 18 years. I graduated from Durant High School in 2005 and in May I will be a proud graduate of the University of Tampa with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science, Adult Fitness. I recently became certified for personal training through ACE and I am also AFAA certified for group fitness.
Throughout high school I was very active. I was involved in cheerleading and dance and was also a competitive swimmer for 7 years. I knew that fitness was important to me and was blessed when I realized that I could make it my career. I started teaching group fitness in 2008 at Shapes and Campo YMCA. I have taught Step, Body Sculpting, Gliding and Kickboxing. I then started personal training in 2009. I love the opportunity to work with others and experience their positive changes along with them.
I am a member of Bell Shoals Baptist church and in my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Once I graduate I plan to continue to train for RobZFitness and pursue further education as a Clinical Exercise Specialist.
I have known Rob for quite a few years and am very excited to be a part of his team. I firmly believe in the program Rob has created and know it is the best, healthiest way to see results. I think that it should take work to achieve something you really want and achieving health and fitness is no exception. It does take work to achieve your goals but anyone and everyone is capable of doing so.

Certified Personal Trainer and graduate from Wayne State College, Nebraska in 1991. My educational background at Wayne State College was in the study of Exercise Science and Wellness emphasizing in fitness training and body conditioning. I have worked and dedicated my life in the field of athletics and fitness for the past 20 years. I have worked in the Bay area since 1991 as the Corporate Fitness Director of Lifestyle Family Fitness Centers and as the Personal Training Coordinator/Fitness Director at the upscale Harbour Island Athletic Club in downtown Tampa. I played collegiate baseball and have extensive athletic training for athletes in baseball, football, basketball and volleyball. I currently own and operate RobZFitness, formally known as Personal Best Fitness Training, for the past 10 years.
I was born and raised in Columbus, Nebraska and I have been married to my wife Amy since 1993 and we attend Bell Shoals Baptist Church with our two girls. My hobbies include softball/baseball, college football (Nebraska Cornhuskers), Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, fitness, anything with the girls, (Disney) and graphology (study of hand writing).
Growing up I really looked up to my father, who was the oldest of six, as someone who wanted to be in the best shape than any other sibling. He was always active in nature. So I started to mess around with training at age 16. While playing in the outfield and batting cleanup for Wayne State I used fitness to enhance my natural ability. Fitness was always in the back of my mind to keep in shape playing baseball. Fitness is such a big concern to me knowing that 67% of adults in America are either overweight or obese. By 2015 those stats will rise to 75%. Not only are American adults overweight but there is a huge rising trend in children. My philosophy includes eating properly, weight training and challenging the cardiovascular system. I apply wholesome and natural foods for optimal achievements. Changing paradigms can be challenging but achievable!
RobZFitness - Mindset
TRAIN WITH A HIGHER PURPOSE. Just wanting to ‘look good’ will only motivate you so far. Find a higher reason or purpose to train. ALWAYS TRAIN TO GAIN, NEVER TO MAINTAIN. Improve continually. Challenge yourself! Strive to be your Personal Best! For me, it’s many things: a way of life, an excellent form of self-expression and creativity, and something I do to maintain longevity of great health. Take care of yourself today; prevent others from taking care of you in the future.
I love taking a person who doubts his/her genetics and make them into the new person who they want to be. I love hearing the petty jealousy and anger that comes over other people that say “he/she must be loaded to the hilt” yet he/she is on the same things they are on. I’m not pushing my methods on anyone. But, I want you to decide for yourself with deductive reasoning. So, if you have been working out for 4-5 years and people aren’t commenting, stating or asking questions about you being in great shape on a daily basis, I think that’s embarrassing and you might want to question if what you are doing training wise has merit to it.
90% of people in gyms around the world are doing some form of volume training, but why does everyone stay the same size year after year? (With volume training you see a lot of overtraining, joint injuries and people who are burning up all their energy stores incorrectly). Personally, I like the shortest route at the shortest time possible to get results. I want clients to know that their fitness trainer thinks their routines out for them.

I have been a long time friend of 15 years with Rob Zulkoski. Rob was after me for three years to come on board and help expand the business and change the way people feel and look for the better. It was a long time passion of mine to be fit and to do it the right way and I joined with Rob and RobZFitness on December 1st 2007.
I was born and raised in Tampa, FL and now reside in Brooksville, FL. I am a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Management and Sales in Agribusiness. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. I have been married to my wife Robin since March 25, 2006 and we are cherishing our bundle of joy, Emma Kate, who was born on August 10th 2007.
I grew up learning and experiencing the outdoors that God created for us with my father. I am proud to say that I am an avid outdoorsman who enjoys both fresh and saltwater fishing, hunting whitetails, hogs, and turkeys, four-wheeling, fitness and most of all, time with my family and friends. I am a huge fan of country music and my favorite artist is George Strait.
I was introduced to the fitness industry when I was a junior at the University of Florida. It was my goal to reduce body fat, increase lean muscle, and to achieve the most desired “six pack”. By making a change in my lifestyle, exercise program, and with a sound nutritional program I was able to reach my goals. Little did I know that I could take it this far. And oh by the way, I did it the “natural way”. I have had my body fat tested at 3.6% and Rob constantly reminds me of it every day by not allowing me to slack off. There is one thing that separates both Rob and I from other trainers…it’s that we walk the walk and talk the talk.
Both Rob and I are very passionate about what we do. Nothing excites us more than watching our clients reach their goals. Rob and I are committed to get you the ultimate strategy for lifetime physique transformation through a sound nutritional lifestyle and exercise. If you are ready to get in the best shape of your life, join us today. Our motto is “Always train to gain, never to maintain.” So give it your best and make the time each and every day.

I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated from Bloomingdale High School in 2003 and played for the Bloomingdale Bulls baseball team for three years. I then graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA in 2007 with degree in Exercise Science and Fitness Programming. I am currently certified through AFAA and FiTour for personal training and I am CPR and First Aid trained. I am looking into obtaining future certifications through ACSM and NSCA(CSCS).
While in high school, baseball was my interest. I did exercises only to improve my baseball game. My interest of exercise and fitness started to develop when my baseball coach required team workouts. Serious workouts! These workouts were not only for the game but, a workout for our entire well being. From this point on, I began loving and enjoying exercise. Since I enjoyed exercising so much, I sought to pursue a career in fitness. While in college, my requirements for my fitness degree were to shadow numerous exercise oriented jobs. I enjoyed exploring different avenues for fitness but, I discovered my passion was with personal training. I value being able to develop a relationship with my clients, and to be able to watch their confidence and self-worth increase though exercise and nutritional achievements. I always deliver to give my 110% effort to help my clients achieve their goals. I encourage each client to reach their initial goals and help them pursue new ones. Like Rob says, “Always train for your personal best.”
In December of 2006 I married my wonderful wife, Tina. We live in the area and have a dog named, Sugar. My parents are Kelly and Beth Green. My father, a missionary, is on staff at Bell Shoals Baptist Church and my mother works as his secretary.
Even though I am a personal trainer and love working out, bodybuilding is one of my hobbies. Over the past two years I have developed a love for the sport. In the coming years I look forward to competing in my first natural bodybuilding competition. I am also a huge movie buff. My wife and I really enjoy watching all kinds of movies, especially THRILLERS!
